What is the Permian Energy Development Lab?
PEDL's is a coalition whose mission is to advance energy development in a way that benefits and creates opportunities for energy communities and the United States overall.
It will do this by fostering collaboration amongst business, government and academic leaders and leveraging the Permian region's expertise and geologic resources, reinforcing its status at the center of the global energy economy now and into the future.
The lab is a place where energy experts from the public and private sector can collaborate to develop and test new technologies. They also work together to develop cleaner and more efficient ways to operate existing energy systems.
CO-FOUNDERS
The Permian Energy Development Laboratory is a two-state consortium of colleges, universities and national laboratories. The Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation founded the effort and continues to incubate the organization.
